Yaw-bowl-cho-ith is how I would pronounce it. Yaw like pitch/yaw/roll, bowl like... bowl, cho like chose, ith like pithy. Not like I've ever had reason to say it out loud but that's how my brain parsed the sounds.

E sounding like the English long A is its primary sound in Spanish, and I don't know about French but it's at least common there too. And it happens sometimes in English too.

E can be a long A in uses in English but not as an -ie or -lle. It being a Spanish thing would explain it, I've run into confusion before because Americans are used to Spanish pronunciations and I'm not as an Aussie where it's not a particularly common language to encounter. Those uncovered parts of her body look decidedly un-chitinous. Like the gross blood ish stuff coming off and the marks from where the spikes were all seem to imply that. My impression was she was big like in her ebon and later blue form. I think other devils can have like fur and stuff, but I wonder if that has anything with anything. Also I wonder if ivory also could have to do with her being so fresh but only with one name? Also I like to think there were a few quirks that Yabalchoath may have had that were Cio-ish, and that ironically her husband brought all of those to the fire when he recreated her (since those were much more visible to him). The idea of the beginning of this process defying the laws of the world having begun unintentionally from some gold devil is also kinda nice. Like maybe things that don't follow established rules have happened before and just never happened to make so big a splash (but could have).

Surely Nokoku is something new? She was a pale devil chrysalis and just now hatched straight into what was the ebon devil form of Yabalchoath. She isn't ebon though, she's ivory and that doesn't exist. Also I'm not sure how fleshy devils traditionally are but she seems very fleshy, and I'm pretty sure the outer shell is meant to represent the Alisson/Cio merge.
