I wonder if Mottom might be more powerful right now than she has been for a long time, if not in her entire life. It would be the ultimate irony for her resolve to be forge in the flames of despair over her thinking she is going to die, and resulting in her becoming strong enough to actually resist death. Like if she was always this determined, she probably wouldn't need the buttfruit.

What I mean is that while one can be ignorant of what is possible and impossible for a little bit, you can't keep it up. like how the one guy hesitated when facing Aesma, he couldn't keep up the stupid. I figure that its that, and you sort of need to stumble onto the path of how to do that. Having a key of kings likely makes it easier to do so, and once you have, you likely have an easier time doing it again. after that. Willpower seems to be a factor in strength, and in perhaps getting that initial spark. It also might be that how one achieves this is different from person to person. It might be like having a hand you didn't know you had: it would be hard to even move it at first, but after a while it would become natural.

But yeah, I mean't angel a diablos.. I figure whatever himself is isn't something completely earth shattering (he did get locked up by lesser devils), but I figure he is sort of the demonic version of a prime angel: something that doesn't happen often. Also I know that seems like a technicality with Cio and all that, but I honestly think that with how Cio has changed as a person, she would likely look different from yabalchoath by the time she pares her name down to the ebon one. For example, she would probably wear clothes.

Maybe I'm just looking for anything to betray the true nature of the demiurges now, but does it seem like jagganoth is using the throne to help himself up? I'm sure he actually can kill the other demiurges, but I wonder if wounds from before his invulnerability still haunt him. I think we have already deduced his mental ones do!

I think that if Cio ever turns ebon again, and it isn't just fridging her or turning her into a villain (both of which I feel Abbadon would not do), then I think she would likely do so after another timeskip. 'Cio' (not Cio von maximus etc) would likely be an idealized version of what Cio wants to be, and not what she once was as Yabalchoath. I feel like it would be pretty bad message to say that a persons idealized or distilled self free of what labels other people put onto you is worse and more immoral.

I mean, if we are gonna go with lore on things* you could say that the gods never intended to create devils, as even Koss did not try to work the Black Flame, hot or warm, and that there really isn't a 'most natural' state for devils for the most part. I would also say that I agree the level of a devil isn't the end all be all of their power or their self actualization as a person. Either way, I think if Cio ever does find herself with only her Ebon name, That the name will reflect the person she is, and not the other way around. *:though I will note that every watsonian text on these issues is likely biased and does not hold the complete picture, and I think while Abbadon might say some things here or there, he likely isn't going to spell things out completely, and can always change his mind on what is the case later. Edit: This is a separate argument than above, but we could even argue that technically she doesn't even have 'Yabalchoath' in her name at all anymore, and that while having been her is an important part of Cio, it doesn't define her solely, or even majoritively considering it isn't even referenced in the name.
