I like it because it allows him to be human, and to neatly be done away by someone just as murderous and capable as he was. It reminds a little bit of the ending of No Country For all Men, since the movie added the car crash at the end to under Chigurh's mystique.

David Simon, David Chase, Mathew Weiner. Those are the biggies. Steven Bocho if you're going earlier.

He would have to do another couple of successful seasons of Fargo to match up, maybe another series too. Legion ended kinda conventionally, not badly, just a little by the numbers for a comic book property.
