As long as you're able to touch the base it's allowed even if you don't try to. They've never call that interference. It's stupid that the game allows such a dangerous play but that's how it is. Blame the rules or at least how they are enforced, not Utley. Maybe if everyone didn't bitch about the Posey rule ruining baseball that play would've been outlawed already.
