In the PC version it will just corrupt your steam cloud files for all Capcom games and also the pawns of everyone on your friends list with a letter in the name of their pawn that is in the same place as the same letter in your own pawn.

Something that i hope mods will fix is mystic knights actually pulling out their shields when you draw your weapons. It always bothered me that you get a sick great shield but your character always keeps it strapped to their back in a fight unless you're blocking

Do NOT pick up Adaro's escort quest: Guardsman Sought at the same time as the quest; Lost and Found as this will potentially bug out Lost and Found. The player will be unable to speak with Adaro regarding Quina's returning regardless if the escort quest is finished, X amount of time has passed, or even killing Adaro.
No possible solution has been found, please refrain from starting both quests at the same time!

guess what i just did, lol. locked myself out of another whole sidequest is what.

don't feel too bad, there are a ton of things you'll probably miss in your first playthrough.

i thinking choosing mage at the start is a bad idea, generally. that's a class you want to go back to after you've leveled up a bit already

Sorcerer is where it's at, the basic mage class is for a medic support pawn.

Once you finish the first few story quests (when you get to the capital city) you can change class basically whenever you want

the only difference is that your stat growth will have been slightly different while leveling but i dont think its anything significant enough to worry about, unless you're trying to be super-optimal

Evil Eagle

Staying as a fighter for early levels is good no matter what vocation you want to be later, because you get a ton of hp growth.

That's cool and i wish i saw that before starting over. Oh well I like the fighter a lot more so far.

I was expecting Warrior to be sick because i love Big Two-Hander classes, but I wasn't expecting to basically be one-shotting chimeras with an insanely long charge up attack. this vocation owns

I'm a little worried I might be screwing myself out of Stamina growth by playing as it but I guess I could just swap back and forth between this and Assassin. it doesnt seem like stamina is much of a problem after a certain point anyway

Liquid Vim (infinite stamina) becomes kind of common in bitterblack, and you can always bring mushrooms around to refill stamina. Getting a lot of stamina is nice anyway just to be able to sprint more, so it's up to you really.

I got a great hammer with three heads on my hard mode run and beat the hell out of everything, it was so drat fun. My only issue with Warrior is that it doesn't get any skills on L1. That and flying enemies are a little tough to deal with but that's true for every vocation that doesn't have a ranged weapon.

I haven't seen the three-head hammer except on other people's pawns so far, but I got a fancy longsword called Gryphic Victory from one of the escort quests and it seems way way stronger than any of the other gear I'd normally see at this point in the game

I ended up starting my first run on Hard and it's been cool. the very beginning super sucked because Goblins and stuff could randomly one-shot me, but ever since reaching the capital and getting gear that isn't horrible and some levels, it's felt pretty normal. tough boss creatures can still one-shot me if they land a solid hit but i feel like that's appropriate for bosses.

also yeah, this and Climbing are why i do still want more stamina. I meant more in regular combat, like i'm usually not running out of stamina just from using my special attacks anymore

Sort of. Archery outranges a ton of stuff, especially as Ranger, so you can catch stuff unaware.

I think Assassins have more of a stealth emphasis.

I guess, but I think the assassin augment that gives you bonus damage when hitting enemies that aren't in their battle stance is bugged. There is a stealth/invisibility dagger skill that you can use, and you can use any of your other abilities while invisible.

Assassin is super versatile and fun. Four skill types (sword, dagger, shield and bow) as well as the highest strength growth in the game makes them a good class to play around with for the mid game.

Swords are really powerful and get some amazing skills like dragon's maw, but once you go dagger it's hard to go back. I love to double jump.

Assassin's Invisibility should be called Invincibility, really. Enemies can still see you, it's just that they can't damage you at all.

Hundred Kisses + 4 conqueror's periapts my friend. Fournival sells em.

Hundred Kisses is one of the best dagger skills because you can use it while clinging to monsters when otherwise you could only do normal attacks. The extra damage really racks up.

I'm pretty sure the bug is that it applies constantly and to everybody instead of only if you have the augment equipped. I've definitely noticed enemies taking a lot more damage if they're unaware even when i was just a level nothing fighter in the early game

my main weapon and my pawn's weapons all require Griffin parts to upgrade, but the freaking griffins never land or notice me except that scripted one with the cart. One of them I managed to catch with a melee hit while it was harassing some saurians and it still left immediately without paying attention to me.

how the heck are people supposed to hunt or fight these things? I know burning its wings should prevent it from flying, but most of the time unless I'm insanely lucky it wouldnt be in range even if i were a ranger or wizard
