One of the important guys started the inquiry by basically musing "Hey, wasn't it really loving cold that day? Like below-freezing-the-coldest-launch-ever-attempted cold?" though he knew it was an ORing failure.

Likewise, a lot of disaffected engineers, software programmers and people involved in QC meticulously led him towards avenues of questioning that they had concerns about -- (like NASA's 1 in 10,000 failure rate for Shuttle missions, which was really more like 1/50-1/100).

The Council of Jerusalem doesn't focus on dicks. P/Saul doesn't write to the Galatians, and his ideas on the proper development of the church don't gel with actual documented Jesusisms. Instead of becoming a separate entity, Judaic Christianism becomes a reform sect.
