For a more complete picture, he announced he had bowel cancer in April 2014, which sucked, but not too much since it was one of the less serious types. He gets chemo etc and knocks the poo poo out of it and it goes into remission. He wins, it's gone. Then a couple of days ago, he gets a scan and oh, look, his liver is peppered with little dots. It metastasised into his liver. They announce that it's inoperable. Of course, cancer more often than not gets a KO in round two anyway, so... As has been pointed out, the joke's on him, because four years earlier, he expressed a presumably genuine desire that a fellow human being be inflicted with terminal cancer.

Dying of cancer of an internal organ like the liver is unbelievably painful, slow and horrific. Please leave the obsessive weirdo cheering on some ones death whose worst crime was having mildly "bad" opinions to the appropriate forums. I think most people come here for the fail army type of jackass humour where pain is silly and short and every one laughs after.

You can't see any humor in someone telling other people to get cancer and die, in a serious and not joking manner, getting cancer that will kill said someone? I feel the schadenfreude is lessened because when called out on his past statement (because he was denouncing people who wish cancer on others) he genuinely apologised and said he regretted his actions. Trains hitting cars is funny because the driver usually went onto the tracks of their own accord. Cancer doesn't strike just because you wished someone would die of it. Source: half my family died of cancer/has cancer and none of them wished cancer on people afaik. EDIT: Although, if wishing cancer on someone gave you cancer, a lot of people in this thread would be prime schadenfreude in a few years. Roro has a new favorite as of 21:50 on Oct 17, 2015 |

I never said they are at all equal, nor do I think they are equal, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. However, he did wish it upon someone and then got it himself and I can see the humor in it. I don't want the guy to die from any cancer, let alone as horrific a cancer as what he has. I don't want the dentist who hunted a lion to be killed, but I'd still laugh if his head ended up mounted on a wall. Edit: using the word karma was incorrect, but my point stands.
