This is my surprise hit of the year. Really enjoying the cool space pirate atmosphere and the ponderous submarines in space combat. From what I can tell there is shitloads to do as well. I think everyone's playing with a controller because that's what the devs suggested. But I'm using keyboard + mouse just fine. You can tell the UI was made with consoles in mind. 8 way selectors, buttons to move between categories etc. But all those elements work just fine with point and click too so it's not obnoxious.

How can I tell my relation with various factions? Been doing a lot of missions that give + and - but I don't see my overall ranking anywhere.

Section Z posted:The "Push CTRL" screen will show reputation bars as well. No numbers but at least it's something. It also will show your rank in things like the Merchants Guild (I just joined and now it shows my Rank 1 status in the upper left). Oh cool, thanks for that.
