Hey baby I think we Havel lot in common
I'd almost say MGS3, but I like playing that game already knowing everything, and I don't think I'd enjoy it more on a first playthrough than on my 100th. I'd almost say Dark Souls, but if I had to play it now with nobody online it just wouldn't be the same without getting invaded 100x in Burg by 100 different level 1 pyrotwinks with a lightning rapier +10.

Hmm...

Oh, of course.

drat... there's great DLC content from games I like that I didn't play because I already finished the game. But I'm going to have to go with Undertale despite that. Loved that game.

I've never played the Dark Souls or Dark Souls II DLC. They will be welcome surprises when I return to the games in half a decade

The online Demons Souls community is still active and Dark Souls is on platforms people still actually use, so I think you wouldn't have a problem there

I agree with the a game made better by DLC thing, that being said its hard to choose. I still haven't played the Dark Souls 2 dlc, I am going with this one.

I'm ignoring your drat rules OP and saying the entire Ace attorney series. Sometimes I get jealous of people playing my favorite games for the first time, like you're in for an epic experience... replays aren't the same.

If I had to choose though it'd probably be thousand year door or persona 4 or something.

I get irrationally annoyed when someone plays a game like Deus Ex for the first time and does not enjoy it.

I would also say Fallout New Vegas, or any big open-world RPG i've played loads of times, because nothing beats going into an RPG and discovering something cool on your own.

The only bad thing about having skipped lots of games is that some of them are just godawful to play when you are used to 2015 games.

probably dark souls or bloodborne. wiping dark souls from my memory while still knowing about DS2 would be weird, so let's say bloodborne.

GTA 5 It's not a mind blowing game, but there were so many tiny things I really enjoyed discovering while playing that game, different areas, radio station tracks, The works. Also a ton of adventure games like The Dig, Monkey Island or The Walking Dead. It's never the same on a replay.

A few indie games like Thomas Was Alone, Hotline Miami and Gunpoint. I had an absolute blast with them first time around but they are kinda 1 and done games.

It's funny, other games like the original Operation Flashpoint/ Arma were games I really enjoyed playing the first time. But my enjoyment and appreciation grew over time the better I got. So it doesn't really apply to some games.

Many SNES games control better than most 2015 AAA releases. Like NES and prior games are almost all rear end but beyond then its smooth sailing.

Baldur's Gate 2. I have explored every map, done all the quests, and just in general played it to death. Although the intro dungeon is long and annoying as hell at this point

Old console games are usually fine I mean, playing an N64 game or a really early 3D game on PC is just a pain when you are used to games that don't have godawful cameras and stuff.
