That ship landing in RotS is the Falcon and that appears to still be canon, unlike the Luceno book. Also, here's Falcon looking like crap, so, yeah, seems like it's going to be a loving restoration in the film:

I kinda wanna see Solo just to see how bad it is but at the same time it'll be like Rogue One in that it's at least barely competent but utterly forgettable That one .gif of the train gunfight with Woody was neat, though.

I think so. The outcome is the exact same. That one big green dude picks up the little dude and slams him. But I think the move that plays out right after gets shown in TFA and someone owns that big guy.
