I recently played through mp1 again and went to try 2 for the first time and didn't really enjoy it. It's good and all but after 1 it feels like a letdown. It just seems a lot more linear and the atmosphere isn't quite as good. Also I feel it looks worse in many ways from a design point of view

I forgot I had fusion on my ds from that free Nintendo deal years ago and started it today. It's good but I really suck at the 2d metroids

the wii metroid controls initially were hard (those war wasp things took forever at the start) but when you get used to them they were awesome. moving and shooting eventually feels really easy, and you can still lock on like the gc controls.
