Strip out all the horrible social conservative stuff and they are still trying to regress the country to a pre-FDR standard for labor where children have to work in schools if they can't afford meals and you can fire a woman for being pregnant since that affects your bottom line.

Has a recall ever benefited a Democrat? It seems they inherently are biased towards Republicans since it's an even weirder time to have an election. The ones off the top of my head are California, Colorado with the gun nuts, and Walker successful beating one. Is this the DNC's fault or is it just more of the midwest deciding they didn't conservative hard enough and they REALLY have to cut everything to gain the Confidence Fairy's blessing. I dunno. Our President had choice words to say about people being lovely to the refugees and a lot of Governors are committed to still taking them in. I don't think it's something the country as a whole has failed but the "I'm so scared I need my precious AR to protect me from hordes of The Others  " people certainly did. Apparently even the Evangelical Christians are unhappy with the tone of gently caress Refuges.

I really can't wait (actually I can) to hear how Roberts justifies all the clinics closing by saying how since the law didn't technically say it was to close all the abortion clinics it's totally not a way around Roe vs Wade.
