Also to be fair it's probably on purpose to prevent people from just keeping it plugged in all the time and wrecking the battery life.

the cool thing about philips or flathead (esp flathead) is that you don't need the exact loving size screwdriver to use it on things. meanwhile I have an entire box full of various allen wrenches

There's a couple roundabouts near me in San Diego county and my god people are loving morons who have no idea how to use a roundabout. It's a yield sign not a stop sign fuckwits. Although they are super confused by stop signs too because apparently if it isn't a 4-way stop magically they forget right of way rules and just go as soon as they can irrelevant of the fact that you, stopped across the intersection from them, were there first. Then they honk at you. Robot cars can't come fast enough.

Nutsngum posted:You're an idiot. EPA results are based on specific tests that rarely emulate actual driving conditions accurately. It's not "anecdotal" evidence when people enmasse calculate their consumption and find it to have been greater then the EPA reports. This is from a few pages ago but dude gently caress off with this 'the only real cars are manual.' Yeah alright you probably get slightly better gas mileage and the car is slightly lighter but clearly you don't drive in big city traffic. Automatic is just better and easier in those conditions, sorry. Melmac posted:This got me thinking. Why the hell do headlights not automatically turn off when you take the key out of the ignition and close the doors? At least make "auto turn off" an option.
