Well the vocals were for sure, but the music was probably played normally and layered in. So what you get now is slowed down music with normal vocals and it sounds rad as hell.

I think the chipettes songs are sung by women. Walk like an egyptian definitely sounds like a woman's voice that has been slowed down. The playback is slower than the actual voice recordings.
