I'm pretty sure Manikins can't find their own Reason. For all that this whole affair is supposedly about people finding their own Reasons, the caches of Magutsushi each seem to favor certain approaches. And the Manikins' role is to hold onto Magutsushi until someone with a Reason that involves breaking their faces rolls up and steals it.

The fact that it makes an appearance in this game is hilarious, but also appropriate and a sign that they actually cared about inserting unique elements of his characterization into the narrative for his cameo. So if you pick tails, does he do a magician's force? "Right, the other side is heads, looks like you just owe me 1 Macca"? Forget the candelabra, though. Why has everybody been collecting enough demon bugs to give us a regular holiday chocolate sampler of the things?

Interesting note: Ahriman is the Zoroastrian god of evil. I mean, there's not even the confluence of weird alternate takes and depiction surrounding Lucifer. He's just straight up the worst possible being that could ever exist. Which says a lot about how much of a jerk Hikawa is. He's also semi-common in SMT. His counterpart, Ahura Mazda is basically god and weirdly has shown up a total of twice. And when he did appear, he for some reason was cursed to become Asura and was working for Lucifer.
