Hey there. It's the holidays and sometimes it's just fun to gamble a gift. If you, yes, you, would like to take a crack at Sleighbell Roulette 2015, please follow the following advice:

  • As ironic as this is coming from me: don't enter if you're not a semi-regular in BSS, pretty much every subforum does one of these. I don't really plan to rules-lawyer enforce this, but nobody likes getting that one fella nobody recognizes and you can't find a single bit of taste out about. You should know if you count or not.
  • $20 minimum on gifts. I don't think we need to add an upper limit here, but if you ship a dude a Stan Lee-signed book or something, don't be shocked if whoever randomed you didn't respond at as high a tier.
  • Ship nothing alive/illegal, thanks.
  • Don't feel forced to get someone only comics merch or presents. If you look at your santa and find that they're also into tabletop, or enjoy film, or whatever, buy appropriately. However, I'm not taking the fall if you foolishly get someone what they already own or research poorly and end up buying something way off base to their tastes.
  • Be prepared to post photos of your gifts upon arrival. Flip side: it's not required, but good for your own sake to get some kind of receipts or proof of shipment just so you can cover your own rear end if things go awry during the busiest shipping month of the year and a santee is going "I GOT STIFFED". It's up to the mods to decide on punishment, but loving someone over has been subject to bans in the past.
  • Hard dates: Entry will last 10 days* (cutting off at 11:59P PST on November 24th), gifts must be shipped out to a santee by the same time on December 24th. If you don't think you can figure out what to get someone, get it together, and ship it in a month, please back down.

If you want to participate, you're too late.
