Mostly people just ignore them or yell, "gently caress you!". Then again this is a university full of hicks, so it could totally be justified. Any other Aggies going to UoG have a run-in with them or hear about their antics? Or is this the first you have heard of this sort of "baiting" going on?

From watching the video, it seems they are upset that the majority of the faculty and administration is white. Something about being afraid of being called a slur off campus and police brutality. There was also something about a metting hall I didn't really understand. A list of demands was also presented. Also, one girl was shrieking a whole bunch early on.

The etymology behind "Cracker" is actually really interesting. First you got the "Crack" which means to "Hit" or alternatively "Give it a shot" and then you got the "er" which donates the action onto the object you're referring to. The first recorded use of the word was from a baseball announcer in Yupsville Arizona ,1934 when he said the designated hitter was going to have to give it his best "Crack" if the Yupville Diamonds had a chance of winnig the game. Well that baseballman did give it his best "Crack" and hit a "Homerun" which caused the crowd to chant "Cracker, Cracker, Cracker" loud and proud and from there on "Cracker" became synonymous with "Winning" and the proud american pastime of "Baseball". So next time you're called a "Cracker" you should "Smile" and say "Thank you" because you were just given a compliment.
