What's that smell? It's yummy foods bakin'
They call it Thanksgiving but I'm all about Thanks-TAKIN'
I'll take a drumstick I'll take some gravy
On my mashed potatoes and then maybe

I'll shovel on some cranberry sauce
And a lot of stuffing on my plate is tossed
String bean casserole, you're coming too!
I'm gonna gain me some pounds before I'm through!

So much food to pile on my plate
When's dinner time I can hardly wait!
Gonna get me some food nom, nom, nom
I excel at gettin' my glutton on

I've had deep fried turkey
(Someone else did the pluckin')
I've had elk and moose jerky
(Even tried turducken)

But I'll tell you the truth and this ain't a lie
When it comes to Thanks-TAKIN' it's all about the pies
I like pumpkin apple and cherry
I like peach and Marion Berry

Marshmallows on top and the sweet potato don't stop
If I Thanks-TAKE anymore I swear I'll pop!
