this is actually a picture from the front cover of a fishing magazine (the title of which i had to redact bc evidently there are still copies of this antique thing running around). the credits on the inside cover read: "fluffie duckie aged 4 with her sister and cousins with a good catch from a 4 acre pond" and yes, those are the carcasses of dead fish at my feet. my father still brings this up as evidence that i do actually enjoy killing animals and i should get over this silly phase and go kill something with him
