I haven't been on SA for years but the person who gave me my previous av as a joke felt guilty for doing so and decided to get me a non-shitty av

If they told you what sorting algorithm it used, that's a different story, although it's still a stupid question that comes down to memorization.

"Polynomial" is a silly answer though, unless they use bubble sort or something. "Logarithmic" sounds wrong too, though, maybe they mean n*log(n)?
