I listened to a recent podcast where he explained how WWE needs to do serialized programming, that there's no reason they can't tell stories like every other show in the world. But then again sometimes he goes off on huge rants about how what WWE REALLY needs is more half naked chicks and swearing, or how no one wants to watch a long match so you should split your 10 minute segment up into 3 minute chunks featuring 20 guys so you can get them all over.
