I need some good games for in-person multiplayer or co-op. I have a PS3 and Wii U.

i found the co-op in the new raymen to be much less frustrating than recent nintendo co-op platformers, personally.

PS3 has lots of good fighting games, particularly Guilty Gear Xrd, if that's your bag, baby. Wii U has Yossy, Mario Kart, Smash, etc. All the big ninty multiplayer games. 3D World. You could also play Diablo III on PS3. That's off the top of my head at the moment.

As a Millennial I posted:i found the co-op in the new raymen to be much less frustrating than recent nintendo co-op platformers, personally. This. Played the entire game co-op and had a ton of fun. Mario 3D World bears recomending as well, along with Hyrule Warriors and Wooly WOrld.

umm I think little big planet had couch coop but I'm not sure how good they are. I played the first one and it was OK as a platformer but that was like 8 years ago

diablo 3 on ps3 sucks cus it's the base reaper of souls without the updates that make the endgame good. get the ps4 version.

Both retro DKC games are fun, as long as the other co-op guy is pretty good at platforming. Otherwise one of u is gonna burn through all the lives fast

Dragons Crown and Helldivers are good on ps3, Dokapon Kingdom is really good for Wii... the new Gauntlet is good too but I think its ps4 only

Mario Kart 8, Smash, Mario 3D World are sweet, yep. Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix for PS3, if you haven't played that, I recommend that especially if you have someone else who wants to get good and will play it with you a bunch. If you have mined the shroomy depths of Mario Kart 8 already, I found Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed to be pretty nice. Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara is pretty sweet for an old Capcom beat-em up.

If you like drinking games, Excite Truck is fantastic. Take turns doing a race, every 10 stars you get, the watcher takes a drink. If you score 5 stars in one trick, that's a drink too. (Wii U)
