I'm seeing it at an Ultrascreen DLX Atmos theater, non-3D Friday night 10:40PM. If only I and my group didn't have work we'd probably go to the 9PM or midnight showing on Thursday, haha. :neckbeard:

I, too, have secured tickets for my party. Thanks to reserved seating, we're ensured an excellent location in the auditorium. It is critically important that we all share this information with each other.

Assigned seating is the best. Dead center in the theater for the 6pm "Fan appreciation" show.

Got opening night reserved seats for myself and my (soon to be) 10-yo. We saw TFA on opening night and he had NO IDEA where we were going or what we were seeing until we got to the theater and it was awesome.

Doing the same with this one.

1) Star Wars has been "back" for a couple years, so I imagine there's a little less hype this time around.

2) People may be waiting for halftime of the game, since that was the original announcement

Because they were very overt with the messaging that the tickets wouldn't be going up until after the trailer aired

edit: kinda beaten

Same thing happened with TFA, tix went up early and it wasn't too hard to get in and order...then the trailer aired and everything started melting down for a couple hours.

Huh, what happened? I thought we couldn't buy tickets until halftime?

Luckily just nabbed some IMAX 7pm tickets.

True. I got the AMC Assembly Row ticket listings by typing in the date manually and guessing the url. I don't think that poo poo was supposed to be public yet

here's the URL in case anybody is wondering:

Depends on where you live. I bought tickets to a crazy huge 70mm IMAX screen near me and the tickets were sold out in about 5 minutes.

Also a bunch of people are probably waiting for the trailer to air like they said it was going to work

I got a row of seats that are mathematically within the perfect viewing distance from the screen, and have the optimum sound circumference ratio.

I don't have access to ESPN, I hope the trailer is up at the same time on the Star Wars Youtube page.

I got my movie ticket purchased tonight at least! I have to because of where I live, it's impossible to see a big film without pre-purchasing, and I go to a fancy movie theater that is just two blocks away.
