All critical analysis or whatever aside, Elliott is awesome and Penny and Quentin's interactions are hilarious. Maybe it's just because my expectations were rock bottom at the outset, but I'm really enjoying this show.

If I'd read the books, I imagine that I'd be less forgiving. This is the first fantasy adaptation I've watched where I haven't read the source material first! It's a weird feeling.

Personally, I've really been enjoying the pace. I've had more than enough slow burn origin stories, I'm glad that this show keeps jumping to the good stuff. I haven't been having trouble following it.
