It's especially interesting because if you just made maybe one or two small corrections the entire arc would have proceeded in a far more normal but still very satisfying direction but it's the idiosyncrasies that really make hxh so special

Yeah, Leeorio is one of those types I'm fine with being mostly static. For the most part he knows who he is and he tries to do the right thing. Why gently caress with a good thing, especially when his current nature leads to him inadvertently helping pariston troll the entire hunter association

I'm not sure any of the royal guard could theoretically be rehabilitated. Their best possible fate was very likely dying for their king. And thanks to her efforts, Meruem got to share some nice peaceful moments with komugi, which might not have happened if Gon was still on the warpath.
