Arkansas has a surprisingly large amount of really good trail running spots, and we also have a lot of ultramarathon types. I go short distances fast but I should really work on my endurance, 5 miles is barely anything if you really want to see the back halves of some of these trails. I worked an aid station at the Arkansas Traveler 100-miler and the people that run that are real crazy.
