I hiked parts the Shikoku henro trail last year, and the longest track I walked was probably from Nagao-ji in Sanuki City, through Okubo-ji, via climbing over the summit of Nyotai-san (800m elevation with a few short near-vertical sections), crossing over the prefectural divider from Kagawa Prefecture into Tokushima Prefecture, to Kirihata-ji temple and from there to Awa-Kawashima train station. Roughly 38 kilometers, with a pack.
