Cars: 1. Swap the eibachs for the FM springs on the miata in hopes of not scraping my driveway with chassis braces. 2. Complete a whole autocross season. 3. Full detail and paint correction including paint chip repair on the miata and the wife's mazda3. 4. Keep those cars looking good with Wash and wax on the reg. Life: 1. Don't screw up cause everything work related is going awesome. 2. Get more in shape so I don't feel tired so often. 3. Make a real effort to be more involved with my niece and nephews.

Move lathe and milling machine into garage side room. 3. Learn some manual machining techniques. 4. Continue to support old product lines, but I need to develop one new product this year for my company. 5. Not let crushing depression of current family/friend situations gently caress me up like this year. 6. Exercise and lose some loving weight. Ugh. I'm back to #245, should be at #215 or so. Late, but I'm curious to see if I can make any of these happen: 1) Buy EF Civic Si/CRX Si with a friend and build an STS autoX car (Fallback plan is miata). Do thread about it. 2) Sell my E36 M3 while the lovely canadian dollar is attractive to americans 3) Complete '99 Civic chumpcar and finish both 8 hour races 4) Get regional race license and do some sprint races And unlikely goals: 5) Win regional autoslalom championship 6) Finish top 10 in canadian national autoslalom championship

I don't want the first time I burn through a whole tank to be on the way down to Tucson for the Zip Tie drags. I think I hit dirt in the WJ... five times, maaaaaybe six this year. Two to new-to-me trails, three times on my nearby go-to. Much of this was lumped into the beginning of the year. WJ repair and maintenance costs combined, YTD: $1335.65. Given how much of that is various purely-maintenance fluid changes, and another $300 of that was doing the brakes all the way around (wear item, sure, but the pads weren't anywhere near worn - the rotors were just shredded), I'll call that a win.

I almost sold my truck so I didn't do much more to it. Got the house better cleaned up inside and out and did more poo poo with it this year than anything. I bought a Volvo V70 and fixed every little thing wrong with it, then sold it and bought a low mile G35 coupe 6MT. Been doing some little stuff with that and doing more sim racing this year rather than real racing. I still want to get back on track and do a couple track days with the G this year after I fix the stupid front end clunk (3 ball joints and lovely OEM bushings on the front corners, ). My strength of my hips and glutes is getting better and I'm trying to get back into running more. Still weak but trying to run at least twice a week but I can only do a mile or so (did a half marathon before surgery, ran 3-5 miles a couple times a week). When not trying to run as much I started lifting more and got an impingement in my shoulder so I can't really lift now either. Rotator cuff is getting frayed a bit but I don't think I need surgery. PT and stretching continues. But really even with all this I don't think this year has been bad. First year of marriage so that's been fun figuring out.
