Poison Mushroom posted:I'm still hoping that the whole Arkenshoes thing is a lie, a bluff, or just a partial truth, because compared to the other Tools, the shoes are just kinda... boring. Infinite Move and Teleportation are super strong strategic powers. As long as you have units doing stuff you don't have to end turn right? Unknown you can't just idle but given subjective Erfworld time, Infinite Move seems awesome. In Aldo sure they'd be more broken on a caster like the Pliers.

It's the Wonky Wrench, an implement formed in a link between Claude, Ivan, and Charlie. It's a dirtamancy implement than can break some of the rules of dirtamancy.

Yeah all the Attuned appear possessive of their Tool's units. It's interesting. Stanley less so, since the hammer doesn't generate the dragons and he has his Knights.

Yeah, if she gets two more Thinkamancers she can do one of those seven caster links the Minds do. Those are totally balanced, hah.

Erfworld is really strong on characterization and I have fun seeing what they do about that, and going into depth about topics like the various caster specializations. Yeah I contribute. I have no idea why everyone is so butt hurt about the pacing and there being, basically, a patreon for the comic.

DAD LOST MY IPOD posted:Wanda was taken out in early February of last year. For more than 11 months now one of the main characters of the comic-- the deuteragonist, really-- has been out of commission and awaiting her fate. There's slow pacing and then there's that. Pacing isn't a measure of time friend. Reread it once it's finished, then see how you feel.

Which rands are normally good for buying but probably most casters won't want to sell food to the nightmare thing. Yeah, as Ditocoaf pointed out this is expressly not how it works. One rand pays for your upkeep for one turn. Rations would pop as normal, iirc.
