People have been sellotaping bacon to smartphones so they can get good pet pictures. Is this a goon approved method or only acceptable for instagram plebs?

8th-snype posted:pls tape bacon to your phone and report back I'm out of bacon, I'll cook a sausage and tape it to my iPhone and report back . It should also be a good test of how well my otterbox and oven gloves perform Vs my cats.

Holy poo poo I can't believe this actually works  Apologies for the potato quality it's night time and the bathroom is the brightest room in the house and I thought flash might piss them off. I'm going to try this again at some point with a real camera. Here we have a study of my cats with a sausage taped to an iphone. Hi. I'm the idiot who dropped my D300 Tamron 17-50 down on to the pavement today. It just smashed the filter but I really did enjoy the crowd of middle aged men who immediately gathered round me offering helpful advice and handy hints on what I should do, (unscrew the filter) and how it was broken now, (it isn't) and I should have insurance on my lenses (I bought it for £50 because the front element is duct taped on).
