Common misconception. Like Archangel and Wolverine, he's actually part of an ancient "race" of mutants—albeit representing a leap forward in power. Previous generations of Rockslide's people have required small physical anchors to house their consciousnesses, whereas Rockslide's mind lives as unfettered psychic energy; and these older mutants were, unlike Rockslide, incapable of constructing their own bodies. They were completely dependent on others to attach their psychic anchors to a suitable body. Even with these handicaps, at least one other of Rockslide's people did manage to have some impact in the world.

So let me make sure I've got this straight: in the first panel where Spider-Gwen ever appeared, it says "Gwen Stacy of Earth-65, your new favorite." And she became everybody's new favorite? That actually worked?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that it just might not be a cause-and-effect situation.

Since DC brought back something as obscure as Prez, is there any chance they'll bring back Tailgunner Jo, the unstoppable cyborg who shares his body with his ten year old daughter?

Her design was out well before the comic was.

Space Cabbie already came back, ten years ago.

Did Mark Waid get him in his Brave and the Bold book? I remember him threatening to do it. That was a fun little book from what I can remember. It starts with Batman and Green Lantern when they were the two hottest DC characters, but quickly brought in the new Blue Beetle when it felt like he was being built up to be a big deal. Of course the Legion shows up, and Lobo/Supergirl ends up being the team up I never knew I needed.

Yes, I hear Rhyno's store keeps it in stock but it's not selling well there, go swing by to help the sales of Zombie Tramp to help justify keeping it in stock ;)

No seriously, just looking at the covers alone I'd say stay away.

I mean, it basically just looks like a modern Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. The sexualization seems too ironic and cartoony to take as a serious attempt at being titillating. I won't commit(and have used up all my Christmas money anyway) but I'll give it a shot if I see it around.

I've decided to believe that Zombie Tramp is about a crimefighting undead rock band, and there's a complicated pun involving superheroes and Supertramp that the entire series is built around.

My favorite thing about making the weekly shipping posts is discovering all the weirdo fringe comics, since I always click on a new #1 to see if there's anything neat to feature in the obscure stuff.
That week the thousand Double Take comics came out was great.

Oh believe me, I wasn't thrilled about JD inclusion in the book, but Lobdell has managed to make her an intriguing character. So I'm willing to give her a shot and see where all leads.
