Has commentary or any segment ever addressed the concept that #1 and #2 are exactly the same? They always promote 1 as being a lovely position but I can't remember 2 ever being seen as a death slot of the same weight. I've always felt like 1 entering should start the match in the ring and 2 should start later so the first guy in has a slight position advantage. That, or start 2 guys and have them both be #1 and then have 30 more enter.

A very tepid Kobe crowd got into this where as the biggest reaction on the show to this point was the improvised pair of Don Fujii and Yosuke Santa Maria. Kotoka decides to do a very dumb thing to Saito and Saito absolutely loses it. Susumu and Takagi have great interactions in their lead up to the Dream Gate match on Valentines Day.
