Aliquid posted:This is true based upon past electoral results. Smaller parties have increasingly used India's generous PR system over the last few decades to slowly chip away at the INC. Indian elections use FPTP though. That's how the BJP got an absolute majority of seats with 31% of the vote. Edit: and the INC got 8% of the seats with 20% of the vote
