The previous thread wasn't consistent on reporting the monthly Japanese PS+ games, so I thought I'd fix that. The games for January, just reported on the PlayStation blog:

- (Vita) Toukiden Kiwami (Koei Tecmo the Best)
- (PS4) Hardware Rivals
- (PS3/Vita/PSP) Capcom Generation Vol. 5: The Fighters (PS1 classic) This is a collection of three Street Fighter 2 games
- (PS3) SSX Download Edition
- (PS3/Vita) Urban Trial Freestyle
- (PS4/Vita) Xeodrifter
- (Vita) Rocket Birds: Hardboiled Chicken

(Yes, the PSP store is still online in Japan, but not for long)

The Japanese PS+ games for February are mostly either the same as the western offerings or have been western PS+ games in the past, though we do get two older archive games:

Mousecraft (PS4/Vita/PS3)
Nom Nom Galaxy (PS4)
Nihilumbra (Vita)
Person 4 Arena Ultimax (PS3)
Minna no Golf Portable 2 PSP the Best (PSP/Vita)
SIMPLE1500 Series Vol. 40 The Shougi 2 (PS3/Vita/PSP)

Except for 2K16, the Japanese PS+ selection for this month is completely different from the western one. Some of the games have been on the western service before, but two notable ones weren't: Psycho Break (The Evil Within) for PS3 and PS4, and the Vita Umihara Kawase game.

In Training posted:

Whoa what's this? A new Umihara game or is it a rerelease of something

The Vita Umihara game is a port-with-extra-content of the 3DS one. It was released internationally last year.
