Tomb Ra1d3r is one of the best games in recent memory, better than any Uncharted bar 4. The climbing/adventuring/Metroidvania style stuff is top notch and the weapon and skill upgrades make it a more satisfying action game than the UC series. And it looks bat-crappingly gorgeous on PS4 (actually it looks nearly as great on PS3 really).

e: Mortal Kombat XL is maybe not worth getting since Injustice 2 is coming and at this point the online kommunity for MKX is nothing but people who will easily and totally destroy you with kombos and cheese. The story mode is extremely fun though.

Yeah a few days ago I bought Oxenfree with Paypal through the internet website, it told me that the payment method failed or whatever, when I tried again it said "You are not eligible to purchase this content", then I went on the actual PS store with my PS4 and Oxenfree was able to be downloaded without purchasing.

I'm not even sure I want to bother downloading Saint's Row 4. poo poo.

Same, but with Heart & Slash. It looks REALLY good but these days I always get wary when something throws "roguelike" and "procedurally generated" at you so hard. Like it's just trying too hard to appeal to me.

e: oh it's a PC port, and the PC reviews are pretty solid. Buying now.

Also holy poo poo, $7 for God of War 3 remastered? Well poo poo, okay.

I've been waiting for the PS4 version to drop below 29.99 forever. It hasn't even gotten close to that.

It's driving me insane how they refuse to let that game drop to a sane price point. I can only assume the multiplayer is insanely popular because it's bar none the worst single-player GTA game since 3. I'm speaking only of the story missions, of course, the map is loving amazing and loving around in it is a delight, and sure even the worst GTA game is still a pretty good time, but gently caress me sideways I am not looking forward to those stupid "drive a forklift" and submarine missions, oh my god.

Amplitude is extremely fun even if, like me, you don't really enjoy most of the music in it. Harmonix should have spent more money on it than on Rock Band 4 (rip)

Resogun is regularly cited as one of the greatest PS games ever, though I wouldn't really go that far.

I said it before and I'll keep saying it, if PS Now could be bundled into my yearly PS+ at a reasonable price I'd jump at it. When I tried it out last year there was basically no significant input lag on even the action games I tried. It's honestly a really good service, especially if you never had a PS3.

Anyone saying that King's Quest is good if you like the older games has clearly never played a King's Quest game, because the re/make/boot/whatever is much, much better than any old King's Quest ever was, in puzzle design, humor, charm, and literally everything else.

It's legit great, much better than any Telltale bar Borderlands or Batman, and has actual puzzles.

If they did take money from the Homestuck game (Which, mind you, is a conspiracy theory roughly on the level of "pizzagate") then that's just icing.

Every old Sierra game I can think of has at least one item you need from the beginning or middle that you have no way of knowing you'll need, and in many cases, no way of knowing it exists. (Glass shard, I'm looking at you)

e: Also, the "TOG stole money from Homestuck" theory is just that, an unsubstantiated theory that is over a year old and that literally nobody with any authority on the subject has weighed in on.
