I will say the first few season of the Walking Dead weren't terrible or anything, but my girlfriend refuses to give up on it, so I have seen a lot of season 6 and I can't tell if they are being serious or if the writers are just loving with fans for amusement?

I just remembered Baby Bob

quote:

Baby Bob is an American sitcom that launched on CBS as a midseason replacement in March 2002. The Baby Bob character had previously been on television since February 2000, appearing in commercials for FreeInternet.com.[1] While actual infants played Bob, the effect to make him look like he was talking was achieved through computer editing.

I just can't believe they stuck with it when everyone speculated that might be the ending and then laughed because it would be really dumb. They could have easily called an audible, but no, they just had to have that stupid ending.

I had the tv on the other day and I guess Family Ties was on. I wasn't paying much attention but I saw one scene where Michael J. Fox was telling some kid how lucky he was to have been born during the Reagan years and grow up during the Bush years and that hopefully he would never see a Democrat president. Season 1 ("Murder House") is a little more coherent but everything after Asylum is unwatchable IMO. The current season, "Hotel", had such a great premise that I was intrigued, so I got through two episodes. It's unfathomably bad. It's too bad because the show is heavily stylized and has great cinematography but it's all style and zero substance.

Well dammit, when I saw what Hotel was based on I was kind of excited to give it a shot. I might anyway someday if I'm really bored.

It's weird that people are mentioning "The IT Crowd" in this thread. It's one of the few sitcoms I like, truly hilarious! The gay musical episode in season 2 is brilliant. To each his own I guess.

I hate "Modern Family" a lot. It tries to be politically progressive in a number of ways but forgets how to be interesting at all. Every character is completely unlikable and 1-dimensional.

Sometimes I'll have the ABC Wednesday lineup on in the background (The Middle, The Goldbergs, and Blackish are all good enough) but I really just don't like Modern Family. It rarely makes me laugh and I don't really find any of the characters to be likable people. I don't know, I just hate them all.

Did anyone see Babes? Always thought that looked bad.

"BABES," is my opinion, is an absolute FOX classic! I don't think I've seen every episode, but I still enjoyed it. It's hard to say which episode was my favorite. However, I think it was always funny when a mishap occurred. I always laughed at that. Despite the fact that it was a short-lived series, it was nice that the three main characters stayed with the show throughout its entire run. It seems that no one stays with a show throughout its entire run. Everyone always gave a good performance, the production design was spectacular, the costumes were well-designed, and the writing was always very strong. In conclusion, I hope they bring it back on the air for fans of the show to see.
