If you're not going to show the character avatar for every one of their lines anymore, can you distinguish between in-game dialogue and your commentary? I've seen some screenshot LPs just put the player commentary into italics, which works fine.

Doug does use that back-facing art in several cutscenes, just usually at the end of them when he's smuggly walking away from you. I think you can see it in the cutscene when you meet him at the water ruins.
