i really dgaf what sexuality or gender or whatever the gently caress you are, but when some probably not even old enough to drink kid says in a casual conversation with people he's never met before "i'm trans" and the other dumb kids are like "yeah that's cool" like it's some sort of conversation about what band they like or what kind of teenage clique stereotype they are.....gently caress i just cringed. he was literally saying it like "yeah i chose this to feel special, gotta let people know about it so they validate me feeling special". i really don't think he was trans in any way except saying he was. how the gently caress do i adjust to this poo poo? i'm the old man on campus with all the backwards ideas  gently caress man i feel like i'm kindergarten with all these young kids running around.

my girlfriends cousin was a parachute rigger and then he got out and bummed around at his grandpas house. Stole a couple thousand from him, got kicked out and moved to Vegas. Apparently he just gambles all the time and lives in a poo poo area of Vegas. I kept telling her not to but she kept sending him a couple hundred dollars every month because he said he "was trying to get back on his feet". Dude has never bothered to try to get even disability from the VA for whatever reason even though he can. He just recently got beat the gently caress up and robbed of the money he had just won at a casino, along with his car. My girlfriend finally realized he'd been probably blowing the money she sent to him at the casinos. I kept loving telling her not to send him money, and secretly I could tell he was a piece of poo poo because he just loving mooches off his family and smoked weed and acted like he had PTSD or some bullshit when he never loving deployed.

So far we're just going over visual characteristics of different minerals, with a test in two weeks. Density, hardness, cleavage (lol), metallic/non-metallic, etc. We're using a little box of minerals with some glass and porcelain to test with and figure out those characteristics to help us figure out which one is which. So far I can already easily tell things like pyrite, magnetite, gypsum, graphite, galena. So essentially I'm learning basics for now.
