The comments I hear from Republicans/Libertarians in Michigan is an acceptance of Snyder as bad (I don't think I've heard anyone defend him, though I admit I generally talk to people between 25-35 so maybe the older groups are still trying), but that it's still capital-g Government and just more proof that the government can't be trusted to handle anything and is inherently corrupt.
