was gifted this the other day, got around to playing it earlier today and it owns i usually play as steroids, got to the throne twice duel wielding melee weapons but got chunked by the huge laser cannon lil hunter isnt that bad if you pack a decent melee weapon like the shovel, one time he showed up i had an energy hammer and it basically just one-shot him then the little fucker flew into me while screaming/dying and exploded my rear end to smithereens

I finally got this today and it's seriously great. I was enjoying Fish and his Throne Butt upgrade but I think YV is my man now, just tried him and killed Big Dog in one hit with a Braaaap'd golden grenade launcher from YV's sweet pad. (which also blew up Horror who I didn't even know had spawned lol) Then I ran out of ammo on my normal gun and Lil' Hunter splatted me while I tried to get range and grenade him

i just started playing this, its incredible. i appreciate the naming conventtions. i feel like my favorites so far are melting and plant, but I'm not good enough to get past the crow levels so far. I'm glad video games are getting cool again, arguably.

guys... I beat Lil Hunter. I finally did it. It gave me a large open arena instead of a horrible tight maze with 2,970 enemies so I kicked his rear end with ease even though I had lovely weapons lol. Then I died in 7-2 because something horrible spawned on my head but that's ok

The throne is kinda lame because there's a 95% you will die the first time you reach it and then probably never lose to it again unless you have problems with ammo

I feel like 5-3 can definitely be a bit cheap/luck - based depending on the level layout and enemies. I might just need to get better tho

My faves are golden shotgun and golden wrench but it's basically whatever weapon you like becaus golden is just a slightly better version of the base weapon

Bolt Marrow, Boiling Veins, and Scarier Face for this game. You spam explosives to clear crowds and then hammer the tough guys with a super splinter gun or a super crossbow.

I'm personally a fan of longer arms and melee kills reduce reload time and use the shovel since it OHKO almost every non boss enemy

Scarier face is an instant pick every time it shows up, and Steroids with bolt marrow + two crossbows/splinters is what I aim for in dailies.

lil hunter is a cool boss because he's impossibly hard at first and not that bad once you get how he works. Taking cover isnt that important in the rest of the game because nothing else (before the loop at least) shoots that fast with no warning. so you don't think of it at first, but then you realize, it allows you to own him.
