There actually are, they just aren't well known or researched. Disassociative drugs, while having dangers, are not as addictive and physically addictive as opiates. A mild disassociative mixed with a mild opiate has a synergistic effects. Its just not prescribed or used much, because doctors don't know, and because DXM and morphine are both out of patent.
