And the state right next to me (WV) is full of people bitching that their registration went up from $21 to $51 a year. High sales tax is the dumbest thing ever though. It's basically a handbrake on consumption, which is one of the major drivers of any economy. Income tax can collect the same amount of money without hurting your consumption nearly as much.
