I think the pilot was a masterpiece of engineering. Gave the network something they thought they wanted, then pulled the rug out and went "HA!... kill everyone!"

What people actually know of the pirates is miniscule. It's the beauty of it.

muscles like this? posted:Those guys are probably Maroons, basically escaped slaves who lived out in the middle of nowhere. That's what i thought, but there aren't that many volcanic islands in the north/west atlantic. From where the Sargasso Sea is located, 20 odd days at sea drifting in the a clockwise... my money is West Africa.

CrazyLoon posted:Canary islands have Tenerife's volcano Pico del Teide (visited it meself), so maybe that if your theory is correct. Yeah i thought of that place, along with Cape Verde and the Azores, but they were active with slavers and the Portugese/spanish navy.

This show can do no wrong... It does lack lately the funny stuff like Tits, Tits, Fruit, Fruit and the hilarious gently caress Tent caper.

muscles like this? posted:Those guys are probably Maroons, basically escaped slaves who lived out in the middle of nowhere. Nice one. This place must be totally fictional... because like... geologically it's a million miles away.

Capn Beeb posted:Isn't the show already playing fast and loose with the time frame though? Like things taking place and people showing up sooner than they ought to? Yes, we established in the first season... it's not historical by any stretch. It's close enough and there are plenty of pirates who should be in it, that aren't.

I'm sure Max will end up the Mary Read we get... It's not like she was super important, she was just there. I'm more interested in seeing Jack's flag up on the mast.

Also how did you do the Thunder? was it Tom Hopper clapping forearms together? Rocksicles fucked around with this message at 07:58 on Feb 15, 2016 |

Not attack them, they would attack Nassau. Everyone was basically in a proxy war... you don't attack us, but the French, English, everyone else is fine. Nassau being effective an English island, but taken over by pirates. If they invade, it's sort of declaring war. Rocksicles fucked around with this message at 07:54 on Feb 22, 2016 |
