I honestly don't care who wins the Super Bowl. If it's the Broncos Vernon Davis gets the ring we couldn't get him and the Giants can't gloat about Eli's two rings. If it's the Panthers a bunch of my relatives will probably have a stroke live on Facebook because Cam Newton.

It's a win/win situation, really.

John Elway would get a ring. Do you want that?

I honestly couldn't give a tin poo poo about John Elway, and that's probably infinitely more insulting to his ego than anything else.

gonna be great when noted bitchbaby Tom Brady is way, waaaaay fuckin past it next season and plays like garbage-rear end dildobutt and instead of taking it in his stride like Peyton has winds up throwing bitchmade tantrums and blames teammates and coaches and lockerroom ball-deflators for his rapidly diminishing skills before being waived and then picked up by the Cleveland Browns and then unceremoniously benched for Manziel and then all of the cheating allegations are legitimised beyond any shadow of a doubt and he is forever denied entry in the Hall for his sins and his supermodel wife divorces him for a younger quarterback preferably Drew Stanton

im sure I would have been properly owned.

No ones mentioning that the Patriots knocked out both of Denver's starting safeties today. That might kind of be important in two weeks.

Basically. I enjoy making fun of Elway and the Broncos as much as the next man, if not more, but there are enough decent things going on with Denver this year that I won't get mad if they win. I'd certainly prefer the Panthers, though.

I did notice in the quarter and a half I watch the patriots were having some success trying to go downhill, it's just the short timing routes that were the big issue, or am I wrong?

I missed most of the action, but what did go wrong on offense for the Patriots today?

The o-line literally refused to block. Brady was hit more times during today's game than any other QB in any other game this entire season. That is a real stat.

That many hits usually means the QB isn't getting the ball out of his hands quick enough. :colbert:

Brady was getting hit constantly, 20 times if ESPN box score is to be believed. Run game was non existent. At some point late in the game Brady had the second longest run of the game, 11 yards, losing out to Peyton's 12.

That's only possible during election years. Giants blew their chance.

And yes, Brady was the Patriot's leading rusher today. With 13 yards.
