Rooting for the Broncos today is the first time I've been in Manning's corner since... the last time he played the Pats I guess. Anyway, during the shameful display of quarterbacking I began to actually pity Peyton "He who is blessed by the Football gods above all others" Manning. This is a uncomfortable feeling that has not since gone away. I thought it would but the way Cam and Camettes absolutely embarrassed Carson Palmer (and by extension the Cardinals) kind of makes me feel like Manning is the underdog. Panthers are fun, Cam drives lovely white folks crazy, and they developed a tradition of giving playoff touchdown balls away to kids. Yet somehow I think I'm rooting for the Broncos.Owen Daniels and Demarcus Ware are guys who you want to have a capstone for their careers. Wade's defense is great fun to watch. I think I want Pey-Pey to retire on top. It's me. I'm the embodiment of lovely football fans.
