He's a wisecracker!
Brutalist architecture gave a lot of really good locations for 70s scifi movies.

One of my favorite aesthetics has always been Art Nouveau. Started in the late 19th century, popularized across Europe by world fairs, it affected art, architecture, and advertising. Most of the best Nouveau architecture is in Paris.















The organic swoops and curls are similar to the Rococo movement from a hundred years before, but has much more of a tie to nature and plant life.

The best known artist of the movement is Alphonse Mucha. He started as a printmaker in advertising, creating posters and lithographs for products.









He even did posters for plays.
