when I did CJ stuff and wasn't busy I would just have a bunch of terminals open with top/tail/etc running, and one with a .txt book from Gutenberg that I would less through come to think of it I read most of the Western Canon that way

it has unfortunately improved a fair bit, and in general good go ai is no longer beatable by us amateurs and yet again that ai milestone passed without us learning anything terribly specific about the nature of intelligence, somewhat depressingly
