Me being the creative director, that's not really my loving problem so, you know, I was all 'let's do it!' 'I'm all for this!' you know?" Jake Solomon really is a fantastic face for this game, and for game development in general. I look forward to seeing what things he brings us, even beyond XCOM. I've been really impressed with the procGen'd maps - watching Beagle, I keep forgetting that the entire map isn't handmade but instead pieced together from sections.

Is Beagle going to package his .ini change into a mod? I really liked some of what I saw during yesterday's modded play - pectoids hanging way back from the front line, Advent soldiers hugging good cover, grenades not being the win-all tools they are now.

For those of you that couldn't view this back when it was "backstage only," the campaign is finally up. Less than 48 hours left on the Phoenix Point Fig campaign. Here's a video of Julian Gollop narrating a boss fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uMePkH8oX0

I'm curious if we will see a Terror from the Deep from Firaxis (despite the XCOM2 ending teaser) given that 1) Jake Solomon has spoken against the idea in the past, and 2) Julian Gollop's Phoenix Point just got funded (even if the "undersea missions" stretch goal hasn't been achieved yet )
