I predict Everest will have enough of this poo poo and just blow up the world. So put me down for six billion.

EXTREME INSERTION posted:I would like to place a unique bet: that there is going to be another physical fight on the mountain this year. Someone is going to have their rear end(es) kicked on Mt. Everest. Bonus points if it's a tourist vs Sherpa throw down like the one that happened a few years back I'd love to hear the story behind this.

Microwaves Mom posted:This pisses me off as it ruins my plans to be a serial killer on the mountain / makes it a lot harder as I'd have to have climbed other mountains now. You can still kill people on the other mountains, and since nobody's heard of those mountains you'll get away with it more easily.

Microwaves Mom posted:True but it doesn't have the thrill of killing rich yuppies on everest. Think of it as practice, you don't want to choose Everest as your first mountain serial killing spree as you'll be ill-prepared to kill said rich yuppies. Get used to killing on higher altitudes first and then you can acclimatize to murdering richer and dumber people. Also my av looks that way because it was drawn by the same guy who did all the early FF concept art.

The good news is there's now less litter on the mountain.quote:KATHMANDU (Reuters) - A rescue helicopter brought the body of Australian climber Maria Strydom from Mount Everest to the Nepali capital of Kathmandu on Friday, a week after she died on the world's tallest mountain. At least now they can give her a proper vegan funeral.

I'd consider rooting for people to die on a mountain a pretty fun and fulfilling hobby, actually. You should try it, it's more fun than you'd expect. e: Also this thread is pretty educational to boot. Definitely cool learning about all the weird stuff that climbing the more dangerous mountains entails. Mega64 fucked around with this message at 18:52 on Jun 6, 2016 |

I believe they actually climbed it. After all, what kind of person would photoshop themselves on top of a mountain in a vain attempt to claim to be the first person of a specific nationality to climb Everest?
