Manhole is good, cops vs a weird disease/parasite thing. The horror is mostly body horror stuff, and IIRC it's more of a mystery than anything. The two leads are pretty great as well, lady cop and old man cop.

I bought a couple of Lovecraft anthologies and got maybe 60% through both of them and never touched them again, and also got a huge Howard digital anthology with like all the Conan stories that has been a great purchase because it's on my phone and I can pull up a Conan story when I don't have a lot of time to read and don't want to start a full novel. I'm a little over halfway through it at this point but am not in a huge hurry to finish or anything. I put some of the Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser omnibus books on my phone as well and they're a nice alternative when I'm not really in the mood for Conan but still want something along those lines.

I'm not linking because it's dirty but there's a new chapter of Itoshi no Nekkoke out and it's hilarious so glad volume 3 is finally getting translated but I'm still not sure if anyone is actually working on it or just mining tumblr for one-off chapters people have done.
